Site-specific. The ceremonial red carpet laid out by the Royal Scottish Academy every year for the Opening of their Annual Exhibition was substituted by a grass carpet for the annual Scottish Society of Artists exhibition. The visiting public were left to decide whether they would walk up this delicate path. Sufficient light was supplied by sodium lamps above.
